Mount Kilimanjaro Climbs
At 19,340 feet, Kilimanjaro is the tallest peak on the African continent. It is truly an accessible dream for those who love mountains and adventure. Anyone who is reasonably fit can climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a multi-day trek with no technical climbing. This is the world's highest freestanding mountain, which lies at 3 degrees south of the Equator. You will be fully supported by our outstanding crew and guides. Porters carry all the camping gear, food, tents, and luggage. Our trail chefs will amaze you with wonderful food served in a comfortable dining tent complete with table and chairs. Our crew brings hot coffee, tea, or cocoa to your tent for your morning wake-up call. As you climb, they will be beside you with a friendly smile and a helping hand if you need it.

Climb Options:
Private climbs: You can climb Mount Kilimanjaro on a private trip we arrange just for you and your friends or family. You tell us when you want to go and we'll make it happen.
Group departure dates: You can choose to join other trekkers to keep costs lower and enjoy the trail together on one of our group Kilimanjaro climb departures. We frequently add new dates, so please contact us if what we have listed doesn't work for your schedule.
Climbing Routes:
Please see the Lemosho (also known as "Shira") Western Breach Route and Southern Circuit Route pages for full descriptions of these 8 day/7 night routes with historically around 98% success rates and a night at Crater Camp. For those who are especially concerned about altitude effects, sometimes we schedule an extra acclimatization day i.e. 9 day/8 night option. The Machame 7 or 6 day ("Whiskey") route is a good option if your time is limited but it allows less time for acclimatization. Please contact us for information.
We do not recommend the Marangu ("Coca-Cola") route on Kilimanjaro. Although it is less expensive and shorter, only around half of climbers summit due to the fast ascents and more chance of altitude illness.
Our longer western approaches offer much more acclimatization time, more pristine scenery, and fewer crowds....not to mention a much higher chance of summiting safely and happily.
Please contact us for information on private trips as well as our group departures.
