Adventures abound in Tanzania.  The variety of wildlife to be seen on safari is staggering.  More than a quarter of Tanzania is preserved as national parks, conservation areas, and game reserves.  The annual great migration of wildebeest, zebra, and other animals is a sight to behold.  Cultural interaction with local tribes can open your eyes and your horizons to other ways of life.  Above it all, Mount Kilimanjaro beckons.  What are you waiting for?

Tanzania awaits - are you ready for the trip of a lifetime?

LATEST UPDATES

Congratulations to Riina, Asa, Dawn and Rosie for a successful climb, reaching the summit on January 5, 2010.  It was the 2nd time there for Dawn.  Despite some challenging weather (rain, snow, sleet, even a little hail!), these trekkers ascended a snowy Western Breach under the expert guidance of Victor Kinyonga.  Great job everyone!  Also congratulations are in order for Janet Peter, an 18 year old Tanzanian young lady who summited with them.  Janet is sister to Serengeti Pride Safaris Co-Founder Lema Peter.  It's a rare feat for a Tanzanian woman to summit Mount Kilimanjaro.  Way to go, Janet!

Is Kilimanjaro in your plans this year?  More groups for 2010 are being added - just contact us with your date preferences and we can build a group around your dates if you'd like! Click on "Kilimanjaro Climbs/Dates" on our menu.
